Natural Cleanser Cream Beauty

Want to look ten years younger, just by using this Natural Cleanser Cream Beauty recipe? Of course you do! That's why you've come to the Skin Natural blog to read this article.

Below is the recipe for a basic, homemade cleansing cream. I made the name up but feel free to stick a label on your jar and call it anything you like. You should be able to find the ingredients at craft stores (try Michael's), online retailers and auctions, or even at some pharmacies.

Natural Cleanser Cream Beauty

You don't need a lot of this cream in order to get a clean, moisturized face.

Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces of lanolin
  • 2 tablespoons of beeswax
  • 3/8 of a cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of herbal infusion (recipe follows)

How to Make Your Cleanser Cream

In the top of a double boiler, melt together the lanolin and beeswax over low heat. Once they are melted, add the olive oil and remove from heat. If you want, you can stir in some of your favourite scented oil, though it's not necessary. Stir continuously until the mixture is cool, thick and creamy, then put into a clean jar with a screw top lid for storing.

How to Use This Recipe to Become a Natural Cleanser Cream Beauty

Using a small amount of your cleansing cream mixture, rub it into your face in circular motions to clean it. Do not remove yet, as you are now going to put a hot cloth over your face to open your pores and help the cream to do its work. Just relax for a few minutes and enjoy. When the cloth cools, put it under the hot water tap again to warm it up and repeat the process. Continue doing this for several times before wiping off with a clean cloth or tissue. Your herbal infusion can now be patted on to tone your face and you are done.

Do this on daily basis, or as often as you have time for. It feels so good that you may think of it as relaxing spa time.

How to Make Your Herbal Infusion

This one is really easy. Just pour 1 1/4 cups of boiling water over 3 or 4 tablespoons of your choice of fresh herb. If you don't have fresh, you can use a teaspoon of the dried equivalent, instead. It is recommended that you use either a china or earthenware container for this. Steep half an hour, strain and refrigerate in a glass jar with screw top lid. It will keep in the fridge for about a week. Apply to your face cold for best results.

You can use any of the following for your infusion:

Chamomile to tone your facial muscles
Fennel to clear up blemishes (use both the seeds and leaves)
Lemon Balm to smooth out wrinkles
Mint is an excellent astringent, regardless of what type you use
Rosemary will help tighten that sagging skin
Comfrey is also good for fighting wrinkles. You need to mix it with some witch hazel
Thyme is another good astringent and acne fighter

Aside from using a little of this infusion in your Natural Cleanser Cream Beauty recipe, you can apply it directly to your face, preferably at least two times per week. If you do, you should see the effects right away.
